  • Melted Retinning



    The first time I used my re-tinned copper pot the new tin melted. The company's "Care of..." List says not to use high heating for cooking in my copper pot. I used medium heat but the tin still melted. If Metal Coating would have advised me to have food in the pot so it could absorb the heat the tin in my newly re-tinned pot would not have melted. I would not go with this company again because they do not take responsibility for their product. Furthermore, before re-tinning I used high heat when cooking with this pot and never had a problem.
